Sand Lake Resort

This is the BEST resort in Minnesota. Kati and Mike are amazing people super helpful and there resort is clean, dog friendly, kid friendly I love the homey feeling that they bring to our family. There pontoon and boat rentals are awesome lots of room easy to acses very clean. We used there pedal boats and kiacks as well there easy to acses so is the life jackets and paddles. There was no need to have to go ask every time u wanted to use something. It made it alot easier with having entertainment for the kids. We love Kati and Mike's son Walter he's 3 and such a great joy to be around. Made me smile every day that kido. Love it be there again next season

What a great spot! Resort amenities were great. Cabin was clean and Cozy and well stocked. Managers were attentive to all our needs, friendly and always attending to resort upkeep. Private beach was one of the best we have experienced in our 19 years of resort stays. Would have reserved for following year if it wasn’t already booked out. We had a great time! Would highly recommend staying there!

2 hrs from home, this place was extremely quiet, we were there during the week. Staff & kids very nice and polite, the pontoon was, if you could call it a Cadillac it was. Power for your ass. Great spot for us.

Greatest weekend at the GREATEST RESORT! From the clean, packed with all needs, large cabin sleeping 6 super comfortably cabin, a game room & all the floating toys!! Thank you to the owners who are just wonderful! We WILL BE BACK to make this a yearly tradition!

We’ve stayed at sand lake resort 3 times now. They are kind and accommodating. The lake view and property is lovely. Close to several towns and other lakes. We greatly enjoy staying at sand lake. We plan to return!

We had a wonderful time at Sand Lake resort! The wonderful family working on site (Katie and Mike) and their kiddos were more than welcoming. I love that they have plenty to do on the water. The kids loved the paddle boats, water trampoline, and sand toys along the shore. The bikes around the sites were a fun treat, even for the adults. The 4 bedroom cabin was very spacious for our large crew. The property was clean, and well equipped with all kitchen necessities including a crock pot even. We enjoyed the pontoon rides and the lake has a nice sand bar. The resort has trail access right across the street, tons of wonderful trails and town is only 5 min or so away. Overall we really enjoyed this resort!! Excellent time, with great company. I’d love to come back with my family! Thank you for the lovely stay, it was a perfect time right before school starting.

We have been here approximately 4 times and always a great time. A great place for family reunions or just to get away to relax. We love all that the resort has to offer. The cozy feelings of the cabins and houses and enjoying a night out by the fire pit. We stayed in Rockwood cabin this time and it was cozy and had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cared for. The managers Mike and Katie were spectacular, they were friendly and always out doing something around the resort. We hope they stay for years to come. Always enjoy being greeted by such friendly faces. We love the serenity of sitting out by the water early in the morning, enjoying a cup of coffee and enjoying all the peaceful views. Then during the day, enjoying the kayaks, paddle boats and boards that are offered to use. The siting area by the beach is wonderful to sit and watch the kids and visit with people. We love that they have pontoons to rent. They used to have fishing boats to rent and that would be great to get those back for the smaller group that wants to fish. This is by far our favorite resort and hope it continues for generations to come.

Our family rented a pontoon from this resort. They were so accommodating, friendly and helpful, it was an amazing experience. Now we can't wait to return next year and rent a cabin. Their beach is great and they have everything to make your stay amazing!!
